Software Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced software engineering manager to lead our team in building next-generation content management systems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building high-functioning engineering teams and a record of driving the consistent delivery of complex software functionality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a dynamic team of software engineers to build cutting-edge technology solutions.
  • Implement end-to-end Scrum process and ensure seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Communicate effectively with Product stakeholders to determine project scope, provide regular updates, and elicit feedback.
  • Develop and implement high-quality assurance processes to drive exceptional results.
  • Partner with product management and feature stakeholders to determine project scope, provide regular updates, and elicit feedback.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to direct report staff, ensuring high productivity and career growth.
  • Plan releases, schedule development, and track progress against key milestones.
Requirements
  • 6+ years managing software development teams/Quality assurance team comprised of 5 or more engineers.
  • Well-versed and experienced in agile development methodologies.
  • Ability to quickly learn both technical and functional knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, with the ability to present ideas and plans clearly to technical and functional audiences.
  • BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
