A seasoned DevOps Engineer is required to lead the optimization of our data infrastructure and CI/CD processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in DevOps, data-centric environments, and cloud-based data platforms.

Core Responsibilities

  • Conducting thorough assessments of current data platforms to identify areas for improvement

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive DevOps architecture and operational workflows

Automation and Integration

  • Designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines for Databricks workflows to automate testing and deployment

  • Integrating automation with version control and deployment processes to streamline development and delivery

Data Governance and Security

  • Managing access controls for Databricks and Power BI platforms to ensure security and compliance

  • Establishing governance policies, including role-based access, to maintain data integrity and confidentiality

  • Creating and managing Databricks catalogs for data governance and discoverability to support business decision-making

  • Monitoring and managing ELT/ETL job refresh cycles to ensure data reliability and quality

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, preferably in data-centric environments

  • Proven experience with Databricks CI/CD pipeline automation

  • Strong knowledge of Power BI administration and capacity management

  • Experience managing access and governance in cloud-based data platforms

  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and monitoring data pipelines
