Translation services company seeks a professional for the role of Gujarati Interpreter and Translator in Rawalpindi/Islamabad.

The ideal candidate will have fluent English and Gujarati language skills and be able to work in various settings such as healthcare, legal, educational, and immigration services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting involves listening to, understanding and memorizing content in the original 'source' language, then reproducing the speech into the 'target' language with 100% accuracy.
  • Check the non-English speakers understanding after each sentence
  • Conference, consecutive and public service interpreting
  • Dealing with highly confidential information
  • Liaise between the service user and service provider

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English or another language
  • BS/MS Degree in English Language, Literature, English Language Teaching (ELT) or TESOL
  • Any other interpreting related qualification
  • Must hold an IELTS certificate with an overall band score of 6.5, including a minimum of 6.0 in each individual subtest (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking)
  • You will be required to sign and agree to a surety bond
  • You will be required to sign and agree to a Non-Disclosure Agreement
