Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Online Freelance Bidder with experience in the field of bidding on freelancing platforms, specifically for accounting and bookkeeping services. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and submitting bids for accounting and bookkeeping services to potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Bid Preparation: Prepare bids for accounting and bookkeeping services in response to requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotations (RFQs), and other procurement opportunities.
  2. Research and Analysis: Conduct research on potential clients and their specific accounting and bookkeeping needs. Analyze client requirements and develop customized bid proposals that address their needs effectively.
  3. Cost Estimation: Collaborate with the Accounting team to estimate the cost of providing accounting and bookkeeping services to potential clients. Ensure that bid proposals are competitive while maintaining profitability.
  4. Documentation: Prepare all necessary documentation for bid submissions, including financial statements, pricing schedules, and other relevant materials. Ensure that bid documents are accurate, complete, and comply with client requirements.
  5. Client Communication: Interact with potential clients to clarify bid requirements, address questions or concerns, and negotiate terms and conditions as needed. Maintain professional and effective communication throughout the bidding process.
  6. Bid Tracking and Reporting: Track the status of submitted bids and follow up with clients as necessary to obtain feedback. Maintain records of bid activity, including wins, losses, and reasons for outcomes. Generate reports to evaluate bidding performance and identify areas for improvement.
  7. Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics related to accounting and bookkeeping services. Use market insights to enhance bid strategies and identify new business opportunities.
Key Requirements:
  1. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree/Certification/Diploma in Accounting & Finance, or related field.
  2. Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in bidding for accounting and bookkeeping services, or proposal development role.
  3. Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  4. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  6. Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
  7. Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and accuracy in bid preparation and documentation.
  8. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills.
