Caregiver for Post-Surgical Patients

At our organization, we are seeking an experienced Recovery Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing with 0-2 years of experience or a Diploma in General Nursing with 1-4 years of experience.

• Ensure patients receive proper care and attention during the recovery process.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any concerns to the medical team.
• Administer medications as prescribed by the physician and ensure accurate documentation.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving patients and ensuring consent forms are complete and signed.
• Ensuring patients are shifted to pre-operative recovery properly and monitors are attached.
• Assisting in post-procedure recovery and performing cannulation in the recovery room.
• Monitoring patient dietary status and NPO times.
• Shifting patients from recovery to wards following all protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• BScN with 0-2 years of experience or Diploma in General Nursing with 1-4 years of experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
