Senior Lead Software Engineer

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Lead Software Engineer to spearhead the development of our cutting-edge web applications. As a seasoned expert in PHP and Laravel, you will be responsible for leading the entire application development lifecycle from concept to delivery.

About This Opportunity
  • We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual who can lead a team of software engineers and mentor them to achieve exceptional results.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in object-oriented programming, MySQL schema design, REST API design, and agile development methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web-based applications using PHP and Laravel.
  • Lead the application development lifecycle, including project planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX designers and project managers, to ensure alignment with project goals and company standards.
  • Ensure that all applications are developed using standard development tools and methodologies, and are well-documented for maintainability.
About You
  • You have at least 5 years of experience using PHP-Laravel and 2 years of experience with Vue.js.
  • You have excellent leadership and mentoring skills, with a proven track record of leading successful projects and teams.
  • You have a strong understanding of agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • You are proficient in Docker and Serverless technologies, such as AWS.
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
