Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a member of our Network Rapid Response Team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality infrastructure solutions in a secure and resilient environment.

As an Infrastructure Engineer III, you will utilize your knowledge of software, applications, and infrastructure engineering processes to work on multiple applications of moderate scope. You will apply your technical skills and problem-solving methodologies to manage production incidents, problems, change management, and communication.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Apply technical knowledge to projects of moderate scope, focusing on improving data and systems at scale, with end-to-end application monitoring.
  • Determine appropriate escalation paths and resolve nuances.
  • Manage incidents, problems, changes, risks, vendor and client relationships, communications, service delivery, and lifecycle management.
  • Perform daily operational duties and define MIS requirements to support business processes.
  • Serve as the primary interface for customer issues and queries.
  • Demonstrate leadership, including management roles such as Team Leader or SME.
  • Coach and mentor less experienced team members and manage team responsibilities.
  • Develop organizational goals, priorities, and service objectives aligned with Global Technology strategy.
  • Create and update documentation.
  • Work independently using critical thinking skills.
  • Advocate for customers during infrastructure or business-critical issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:

  • Formal training/certification in infrastructure disciplines and 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Network Proxy Technologies.
  • Expertise in network technologies such as Routing & Switching, IP Services, Data Center Technologies, and Optical networks.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure disciplines including hardware, networking, databases, storage, deployment, automation, resilience, and performance.
  • Experience in banking, exchange, or technology environments within global organizations.
  • Proficiency with protocol analyzers like Wireshark, Cpacket, etc., and tools like Splunk, SevOne, Thousand Eyes.
  • Ability to learn scripting languages such as Python or Ansible.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
