We are seeking a highly experienced Virtual Financial Manager who will work collaboratively with our team to develop a best-in-class employment experience.

The ideal candidate will be innovative, technology-savvy, and able to self-manage their roles/responsibilities in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bulk Charges: Verify family records, communicate with sites regarding current charges, schedule changes, and terminations.
  • Update records with correct schedules, ensuring deposits and void cheques are received during orientation.
  • Subsidies: Review records, government statements, and notify parents of expiring subsidies.
  • Third-Party Invoicing: Send invoices mid-month to ensure payment before bulk charges.
  • Promotions: Notify parents of expiring promotions and upcoming tuition fees.
  • Outstanding Balances: Check balances, email/call parents, and notify sites of payment status.
  • Review Unpaid Invoices, Send Reminders, and Update Applications with Payments Made.
  • Review and Update 'Tuition Tracking' Spreadsheets for Each Site.
  • Contact All Sites for Inquiries and Claims Adjustments.
  • Collections: Review Outstanding Balances and Follow Up with Parents.
  • Submit Monthly Child and Staff Claims to the Government.
Requirements
  • Remote Office Capabilities: Secured Internet Connection, Working Computer, Telephony, and Virtual Call Applications.
  • 5+ Years Finance Management Experience.
  • Excellent Communication Skills and Fluency in English.
  • Educational Management Experience a Plus.
  • Adept Problem-Solving and Time Management Skills.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills and Ability to Read and Interpret Information.
  • Prioritize and Plan Work Activities Efficiently.
  • Organized, Accurate, and Thorough, with a Focus on Quality Monitoring.
