Backend Developer

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic and database architecture of our web applications.

This role requires expertise in either the MERN stack or Laravel framework, as well as a solid understanding of backend development principles. You will collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to deliver high-quality, scalable, and robust applications.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain robust and scalable backend systems using either the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React (for admin panels if needed), Node.js) or the Laravel framework (PHP).
  2. Design and implement RESTful APIs to integrate with frontend applications and other services.
  3. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  4. Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend.
  5. Work with databases (MongoDB or MySQL/other relational databases) to design schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity.
  6. Implement security best practices to protect applications from vulnerabilities.
  7. Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
  8. Troubleshoot and debug issues in production and development environments.


Qualifications:
  1. 2+ years of proven experience in backend development.
  2. Strong proficiency in either the MERN stack or the Laravel framework.
  3. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
  4. Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
  5. Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
  6. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  7. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  8. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  1. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
  2. Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  3. Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, PHPUnit).
  4. Contributions to open-source projects.
