Mobile Application Quality Assurance Specialist

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the mobile applications are functioning correctly and efficiently across various devices and platforms. This involves thorough testing, quality assurance, and validation processes to guarantee a seamless user experience.

This position requires hands-on experience in manual and automated testing, including designing test cases, executing tests, and identifying bugs. Proficiency in tools such as Jira, TestFlight, and Xcode is also necessary. Additionally, collaboration with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and infrastructure teams, is crucial for successful execution.

Beyond technical expertise, this role demands excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate should be passionate about quality assurance, have a strong understanding of mobile app lifecycles, and be willing to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute test cases for mobile applications on Android and iOS
  • Test application functionality, UI/UX, and responsiveness across devices and OS versions
  • Identify and report bugs through Jira
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in quality assurance with a focus on mobile applications
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Jira, TestFlight, and Xcode
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Prior experience with performance testing, security testing, or mobile test automation at scale
