
Operations Procurement Manager

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of sourcing equipment, managing vendor relationships and ensuring effective operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare quotes for clients on computer hardware and software requirements by analyzing client needs and presenting relevant options to clients.
- Presentation of quotes to clients and follow-up on their status in a timely and professional manner.
- Management of hardware and software warranties, support services, and licensing for clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and optimal benefits.
- Placement of orders upon receiving client approval, coordinating logistics and communication with vendors as needed.
- Establishment of robust relationships with vendors for optimal pricing and service, leveraging industry connections to secure the best deals.
- Tracking of orders, providing estimated arrival times to clients and keeping them informed of any updates or changes.
- Regular updates to clients about their order progress, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Management of office inventory and ordering of necessary supplies, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
- Documentation of hardware and software warranties and licenses, maintaining accurate records for reference and compliance.
- Efficient handling of multiple tasks to meet quote and order deadlines, prioritizing responsibilities and delegating tasks as needed.
- Assignment and oversight of service requests (tickets) for timely resolutions, collaborating with colleagues and vendors to resolve issues effectively.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and familiarity with ticketing and quotation applications, ability to learn new systems quickly.
- At least 5 years of experience in customer support or purchasing operations, demonstrating expertise in procurement and supply chain management.
- Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Project, Visio, Excel, and Outlook, strong organizational skills with ability to multitask and prioritize assignments.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and sound decision-making skills, ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
- A proactive and positive attitude with engagement skills for clients and colleagues, excellent communication skills with focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
- Ability to collaborate successfully with colleagues, vendors, and clients, demonstrated ability to perform under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
