  • Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies that address both IT-related needs and the construction of the new office building.
  • Work on all global agreements and their renewals.
  • Lead and manage the procurement team to handle IT procurement, including hardware, software, services, and contracts, alongside construction-related procurement for the head office project.
  • Align procurement activities with company objectives, ensuring both IT operations and the building project run on time and within budget.

IT Procurement Management:

  • Oversee procurement of IT products, services, and solutions to meet the company's technological needs (e.g., software, hardware, cloud services, IT infrastructure).
  • Evaluate and select vendors and service providers for IT-related projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Manage IT contracts, negotiations, and renewals, ensuring that terms align with the company's strategic goals.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security, data privacy, and legal standards in all procurement activities.

Construction Procurement Management:

  • Lead the procurement process for the construction of the new head office, including sourcing construction materials, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Oversee the procurement of labor, services, and equipment needed for the construction, ensuring compliance with construction timelines and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers and architects to ensure that procurement supports project milestones and budget constraints.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors in both the IT and construction sectors.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality and service standards.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations of vendors to ensure adherence to contract terms and company expectations.

Cost Control & Budget Management:

  • Oversee procurement budgets for both IT and construction, ensuring that all expenses are tracked, reported, and aligned with the company's financial goals.
  • Monitor costs across both domains and identify opportunities for cost reduction or value enhancement.
  • Lead negotiations to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms, especially for the large-scale construction project.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure that all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, industry standards, and company policies for both IT and construction-related purchases.
  • Manage procurement risks related to supply chain disruptions, cost increases, and non-compliance in both sectors.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations within construction procurement activities.

Team Development & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to foster a high-performance culture and improve skills across both IT and construction procurement areas.
  • Work closely with IT, legal, finance, and project management teams to ensure seamless procurement processes and successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align procurement strategy with broader organizational goals.

Sustainability & Innovation:

  • Advocate for sustainable and innovative procurement practices in both IT and construction procurement, particularly in selecting eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient IT solutions.
  • Seek opportunities for adopting new technologies or procurement practices to enhance operational efficiency.

We are looking for

  • Education:
  • Master's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or Information Technology.
  • Certifications in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPPB), project management (e.g., PMP), or construction management (e.g., CCM).
  • Experience:
  • Experience with Lean Construction or other advanced procurement methodologies in construction.
  • Proven track record of leadership in supply chain management roles, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in progressively responsible positions and 5 years in the same position at least and in construction related industry focus.

  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to manage complex procurement functions across multiple sectors.
  • Advanced knowledge of procurement strategies, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
  • Experience with procurement software, ERP systems, and tools tailored to both IT and construction needs.
  • In-depth understanding of the construction industry, including materials, contractors, project timelines, and legal compliance.
  • Solid understanding of IT procurement, including managing licensing, hardware, software solutions, and vendor relationships.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and manage high-value projects effectively.
  • Analytical mindset to leverage data for insights.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and present findings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration across teams.
  • Sound business acumen with a deep understanding of market dynamics and industry trends.
  • Proficiency in pricing software, analytics tools, and advanced Excel functions.
  • Excellent ability in negotiating and executing agreements.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Solid operational management and savvy financial and business skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant legal, compliance, and regulatory requirements, as well as understanding of standard contractual terms and conditions to mitigate legal risk and maintain compliance.
