Senior ROR Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior ROR Developer to lead our software development team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Ruby on Rails and excellent leadership skills.

  • About the Role:
  • The Senior ROR Developer will be responsible for leading the development of complex software applications using Ruby on Rails.
  • The role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the development team in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  2. Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure the successful delivery of software applications.
  3. Manage the development team's workload and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  4. Ensure that software development methodologies and best practices are followed, and that code is maintainable, scalable, and testable.
  5. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  6. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in software development, and provide recommendations for new tools and techniques that can improve the development process.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience working in Ruby on Rails
  • Strong technical expertise in Ruby on Rails
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
