We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Finance Trainee to join our team.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the Financial Manager in implementing financial policies, evaluating administrative staff performance, maintaining books of accounts, taxation, and other related administrative functions. The goal is to contribute to the overall efficient operation of the department and help the company maintain awareness of its financial condition.

  • Assist the Financial Manager in formulating and implementing financial policies and procedures.
  • Conduct performance appraisals of personnel and probation completion sessions related to the administrative department.
  • Initiate disciplinary actions through investigation and resolve any issues or grievances among team members or personnel of the administrative staff.
  • Manage and supervise all resources and functions of all departments related to finance.
  • Prepare reports and analysis based on provided data.
  • Assist in the preparation of the cash book and bank book.
  • Assist in the preparation of salaries.
  • Support in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
  • Review expenses, payroll records, etc., as assigned.
  • Communicate with bank personnel on a daily basis.
  • Supervise and manage all day-to-day office administrative activities.
  • Implement policies and procedures for lower staff to ensure fair usage of company assets, code of ethics, and company policies.
  • Ensure quality work of office boys regarding finance.
  • Oversee security staff and ensure the safety of office stock and assets.
  • Handle all relevant external affairs of the company.
  • Manage daily routine purchasing for the company.
  • Update financial data in databases to ensure accuracy and availability when needed.
