Sr. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Technical Consultant

  • This role requires a highly seasoned expert in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of secure, scalable, and resilient cloud environments across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will lead the architecture and implementation of OCI-based solutions across compute, storage, networking, and databases.
  • They will own the security architecture across OCI — including IAM, policies, compartments, encryption, WAF, VCN security, and compliance frameworks.
  • Evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of OCI services including Autonomous Database, Data Safe, Cloud Guard, Vault, Identity Domains, and more are expected.
  • Landing zones, tenancy configurations, and multi-region disaster recovery strategies must be designed and maintained.
  • Collaboration with security, devops, infrastructure, and compliance teams is required to enforce least privilege, secure CI/CD pipelines, and monitor threats.
Requirements
  • Extensive hands-on experience (minimum 10+ years) with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is mandatory.
  • An OCI Certified Architect Professional certification is required; additional certifications are a plus.
  • A deep understanding of OCI security controls, encryption mechanisms, IAM design, and secure network topologies is essential.
  • Strong experience with Terraform/OCI Resource Manager, scripting, and automation of OCI infrastructure is necessary.
  • A proven track record of securing high-scale OCI environments in regulated industries is a must.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills across cloud networking, access controls, logging, and cost management are desired.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to translate highly technical OCI features into practical enterprise solutions — are a must.
  • Experience integrating OCI with third-party security and monitoring tools is preferred.
  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud or multicloud environments is an asset.
