Software Engineer III Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hands-on experience with PHP Core, MVC, MySQL, and JavaScript is required.
  • Proficiency in PHP Unit testing and adherence to best coding practices are expected.
  • Solid understanding of Restful APIs and integrations is necessary.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with Jira, GitHub, and Confluence is required.
  • Collaboration with peers and team leads to provide guidance on architecture, design principles, and advanced technical concepts is crucial.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product management, UX/UI design, and QA, to align technical solutions with business requirements and customer needs is essential.
  • Evaluation and introduction of new technologies, tools, and processes to improve development efficiency, productivity, and quality standards across the organization is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred; 4+ years of experience in software development is necessary.
Requirements:
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience are required.
  • Good communication skills are essential.
  • Understanding of Docker and Linux is a plus.
  • Ability to understand requirements and solve technical issues independently is required.
  • Potential to be recognized as an emerging technical leader within the team, often serving as a Team Lead, is desirable.
