Job Description:

As a seasoned Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the excellence and performance of our applications.

This demanding position requires an individual with hands-on experience in manual and automated testing. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and executing test cases, test plans, and test scripts to guarantee the quality and performance of our software products.

You will perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to identify and resolve defects before deployment. Additionally, you will conduct cross-browser testing to ensure compatibility across multiple web browsers, as well as perform load and performance testing to assess system stability and scalability.

To maintain high-quality software products, you will develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. You will also identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.

Collaboration is key to this role. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality. Your analytical and problem-solving skills will be essential in providing feedback on testability and potential risks during requirement analysis.

In maintaining test environments and ensuring proper test data management, you will stay up-to-date with the latest trends and tools in software testing.

This position requires a strong foundation in software testing methodologies and best practices. If you have experience with cross-browser testing using tools like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs, familiarity with load and performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner, and proficiency in writing test scripts in programming languages like Java, JavaScript, or Python, then you may be an excellent fit for this challenging role.

We value candidates with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices knowledge and ISTQB certification or equivalent qualifications.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance

Familiarity with load and performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner

Proficiency in writing test scripts in programming languages like Java, JavaScript, or Python

Agile methodologies and DevOps practices knowledge and ISTQB certification or equivalent qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with mobile application testing (iOS, Android)

Experience with security testing methodologies and tools
