About This Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for providing support to clients by managing their bookkeeping tasks, including payables, receivables, and petty cash maintenance.

Responsibilities
  1. Client Support: Provide proactive support to clients to address inquiries, concerns, and issues related to tax compliance, accounting, and financial reporting.
  2. Record Management: Maintain accurate and compliant records of client accounts, including income statements and expenditure documentation.
  3. Tax Compliance: Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations, providing guidance and advice to clients on tax compliance requirements.
  4. Bookkeeping Tasks: Manage bookkeeping tasks, including payables, receivables, and petty cash maintenance, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  5. Banking Operations: Coordinate with banks for daily deposits and banking operations, ensuring smooth and secure transactions.
  6. Tax Returns: Prepare tax returns for individuals and small businesses, ranging from simple to complex cases, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  7. Financial Analysis: Review and analyze financial records, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations to clients.
  8. Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and management, ensuring clear understanding of financial matters.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: ACCA/CA/CPA/CMA qualified or pursuing.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an accounting firm.
  • Skills: Excellent knowledge of Accounts Payable and Receivable, good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices, quality standards and quality assurance policy and procedure, proficient in VAT and Tax Computations, proficient in English.
