Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and driven design leader to join our team. This leadership role blends hands-on design expertise with strategic team development, focusing on shaping customer experiences.

The respective individual will be ensuring design consistency, elevating quality, and fostering innovation across their digital product suite.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of designers, fostering a strong sense of community and shared purpose.
  • Define and evolve team rituals, learning paths, and design standards in alignment with the company's UX strategy.
  • Conduct regular design reviews, feedback sessions, and capability assessments to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Advocate for UX excellence across the organization and represent the team in leadership forums.
Design Delivery
  • Own the end-to-end experience design for the organisation's product and service suite.
  • Collaborate with researchers to define and execute customer research plans tailored to the market.
  • Translate research insights into actionable design decisions, journey maps, service blueprints, and prototypes.
  • Facilitate UX and service design workshops to inform design direction and foster cross-functional alignment.
  • Partner with Product Owners and Engineers to deliver high-quality, user-centered solutions.
Cross-Regional Collaboration
  • Work with designers across teams to ensure design consistency and shared learning.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the company's design system and promote its adoption across teams.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 8+ years in a senior UX role within agile, high-performing organizations.
  • Proven experience leading and developing design teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of UX research methods and design tools.
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for customer-centric design.
  • Fluent in English; native speaker preferred.
  • Experience in Banking, Fintech, or Investment domains is a plus.
