Job Responsibilities
  • Gather in-depth knowledge of technologies and industry trends.
  • Provide and share knowledge of technologies and architectures, serving as a mentor within your product stream.
  • Collaborate with Leads and Seniors to deliver high-standard software solutions.
  • Promote company-wide coding standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Display technical leadership and mentorship by setting challenging goals and guiding team efforts towards successful project delivery.
  • Influence the direction and scope of technical vision within your stream.
  • Collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, Design, UX, and Strategy to deliver top-quality products.
  • Hire talented engineers to build High Performing Teams, consistently raising engineering talent standards.
  • Own business KPIs as a conduit to our Product team and business functions.
  • Be accountable for the technical direction, ensuring daily decisions align with our vision and direction.
  • Coach individuals in the team to become future technical leaders.
Requirements
  • At least 9 years of software development experience.
  • In-depth understanding of JavaScript and ReactJS frameworks.
  • Familiarity with free and open-source web application frameworks.
  • Knowledge of source code control, build process management, CI/CD, automated testing, and development processes.
  • Understanding of creating highly scalable and available systems.
  • Good understanding of leadership, coaching, and mentoring principles.
  • Experience working on high-traffic and large-scale web products is beneficial.
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies like Kanban, Scrum, and XP.
  • Understanding of good product, design, and UX principles.
  • Experience in analysis, design, coding, and implementation of next-generation web applications.
