Job Title: Automation Systems Integration Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure automation systems' reliability and functionality.

About the Role:
  1. This unique opportunity allows engineers to broaden their scope and collaborate with various industries, including Water and Wastewater projects, Oil & Gas, and Infrastructure.
  2. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving automation issues, optimizing system performance, minimizing downtime, and ensuring seamless operations.
Responsibilities and Deliverables:
  1. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure automation systems' reliability and functionality.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues, optimizing system performance, minimizing downtime, and ensuring seamless operations.
  3. Perform regular system maintenance, including upgrades, backups, and configuration activities to maintain optimal efficiency.
  4. Provide thorough training and support to operations teams on the proper use and maintenance of automation systems.
  5. Document all processes, configurations, and changes related to automation systems for future reference.
  6. Prepare progress and root cause analysis reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  1. Diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering, Automation, or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in automation as a PLC/RTU Programmer and commissioning engineer.
  3. Experience working with various PLC platforms and RTUs, such as Schneider M580, Rockwell Control & Compact Logix, Siemens S7-300, S7-400, S7-1500, PCS-7, WinCC SCADA, WinCC OA SCADA, and TBOX RTU.
  4. Familiarity with open communication protocols used in automation, including Modbus Serial, Modbus RTU, BACnet MSTP, OPC, MQTT, DNP3, etc.
  5. Strong understanding of control panel wiring and instrumentation.
  6. Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings related to control systems, such as P&IDs, layouts, Control Panel Drawings, and troubleshoot wiring issues.
  7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  8. Superb communication and teamwork abilities.
  9. Capacity to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  10. UPDA holder.
  11. Proficiency in MS Office.
  12. Preference for an international driving license.
