We are seeking experienced support engineers with profound knowledge of Linux and Windows to manage our support systems, live chat, phone calls, and tickets to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer Linux servers and provide technical support operations including implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, security, and monitoring.
  • Provide customer support by administering and maintaining web hosting services and servers to support business operations and end users.
  • Follow up on customer issues via Helpdesk and provide necessary support.

Requirements:

  • A problem solver with analytical thinking abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of Hosting Control Panels like cPanel, WHM, Plesk, etc.
  • Solid understanding of Linux servers and their management.
  • Familiarity with ticket management systems like WHMCS.
  • Excellent command of the Linux command line and shell scripting.
  • Knowledge of web technologies, platforms, applications, search engines, DNS/BIND, Email, Web server, monitoring/NMS, clustering, rDNS, email clients (Outlook/Thunderbird).
  • Understanding of virtualization technologies (Xen, XenServer, VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Ability to manage customer VPS and dedicated servers and troubleshoot reported issues.
  • At least 1.5 years of experience in the web hosting industry and Linux server administration.
  • Strong team player able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with computer operating systems, with Linux being a mandatory requirement.
  • Able to maintain databases and server backups.
  • Able to deliver high-quality results and services for assigned tasks.
  • Able to work independently and report to Team Lead/Manager.

Job Requirements

  • Linux Server Administration: Administer Linux servers, implement, configure, troubleshoot, secure, and monitor.

  • 1.5+ years of experience in web hosting industry and Linux server administration.
  • Strong team player able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with computer operating systems, with Linux being a mandatory requirement.
