Senior Information Security Position

This role is responsible for overseeing and enforcing information security governance, risk management, compliance, and privacy across our organization.

  1. Establish Compliance Frameworks: Develop and implement compliance frameworks aligned with regulatory requirements.
  2. Manage Risk: Strengthen risk management processes by collaborating with stakeholders, clients, partners, and vendors.
  3. Implement Data Privacy Measures: Execute and maintain data privacy initiatives to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  4. Develop Security Controls: Design and implement information security controls, including policies, procedures, and documentation.
  5. Leverage Industry Standards: Establish and manage a formal Information Security GRC and Privacy Program, supporting the creation of a roadmap that aligns with industry standards and compliance needs.
  6. Promote Partnerships: Foster partnerships with Legal, HR, and other departments to support an effective privacy program and sustain organizational compliance and ethical standards.
  7. Evaluate Certifications: Lead risk assessments and support efforts to obtain key certifications and attestations such as ISO 27001, AICPA SOC 2 Type 2, and others.
  8. Skill Development: Assist in managing a security awareness training program to build a strong security culture within the organization.
  9. Address Client Concerns: Collaborate with sales, customer success, and other departments to address security, compliance, and legal concerns, ensuring client satisfaction while maintaining compliance.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Information Security Governance, Risk Management, Compliance, and Privacy.
  • Deep understanding of tech industry standards and regulations, especially for SaaS products.
  • Proven track record of implementing regulatory and compliance frameworks such as SOC2, ISO2700x, ITIL, COBIT.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Infrastructure technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of global data protection laws, standards, and associated frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or relevant certifications.
