  • Meeting annual targets assigned by senior management.

  • Teaching assigned courses according to faculty workload policy.

Continuous skill development is essential, and innovative teaching strategies are employed to facilitate experiential learning. Critical thinking and debate are encouraged, and student projects, field trips, and placements are supervised as needed.

Assessment, feedback, and record-keeping are crucial aspects of the role, along with mentoring students through Riphah's Mentoring Program. Data updates in VLE and other software are required, and incorporating Islamic and ethical values in teaching is vital.

Departmental and university committee participation is expected, ensuring teaching content aligns with RIU's mission. Student attendance monitoring, supervision, and support are also part of the role.

Research and publication are key, with opportunities for independent research as principal investigator and project leader. Line management responsibilities may involve supervising others' work.

This role requires adaptability and a commitment to academic excellence, with additional duties assigned by senior management within the scope of the job.

Academic Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess strong academic qualifications and relevant experience in education and research. A deep understanding of Islamic and ethical values in teaching is essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
