We are seeking a highly motivated individual for a PhD Studentship position in the Department of Physics. This opportunity is available under the Local Challenge Fund (LCF-HEDP) Ref No.

The successful candidate will be working on Plasma Nanoscience-based Transition Metal Dichalcogenides Nanostructured Electrode Materials for Energy Storage Applications. The project aims to develop new materials and technologies for energy storage applications.

About the Project

The project focuses on the synthesis, characterization, and application of nanostructured electrode materials based on transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs). TMDs have shown great potential as electrocatalysts for energy storage devices due to their high conductivity, stability, and tunable electronic properties.

The researcher will work closely with the Principal Investigator to design, synthesize, and characterize TMD-based nanostructures using advanced spectroscopic and microscopy techniques.

The outcome of this project will contribute significantly to the development of sustainable energy storage solutions and enhance our understanding of nanomaterials for energy applications.

Benefits
  • Monthly stipend: Rs.32,000/- per month
  • Contract duration: One year (extendable to one more year)

  • Enrolled PhD student in the Department of Physics at Government College University, Faisalabad will be preferred
