Responsibilities:

Meet annual performance targets set by the Head of Department.
Work towards setting high-quality teaching and learning standards for students, as directed by the Dean or Director of University.
Teach assigned courses according to faculty workload policy.
Assist in developing learning materials, preparing schemes of work, and maintaining records to monitor student progress, achievement, and attendance.
Contribute to the development of module information packs, assignments, and examination questions. Assess student progress and provide feedback.
Continuously develop own teaching and learning skills and contribute to planning teaching programs.
Employ innovative teaching strategies and facilitate experiential learning during lessons.
Liaise with academic colleagues and maintain good relationships with them.
Supervise student projects, field trips, and placements, where necessary.
Set, mark, and assess work and examinations, providing feedback to students.
Mentor 15-20 students through the Riphah Mentoring Program.
Update data in virtual learning environments and other required software as needed.
Incorporate Islamic and ethical values into teaching practices.
Participate in activities of departmental and university committees.
Ensure teaching content and delivery methods align with the RIU mission, addressing issues related to subordinates and student needs.
