Job Title: Technical SEO Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Technical SEO Expert to join our organization. As a Technical SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing automated testing of websites, including high-performance HTML validators, link checkers, spell checkers, automatic detection of missing elements, analysis of missing keywords, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities:
  • Research and implement tools for automatic link checking, HTML validation, etc. in Linux command line.
  • Execute tests, collect, and analyze data and results from Elasticsearch, Apache logs, Matomo, Google Analytics, and other web analytics tools.
  • Design and perform A/B testing of new concepts to improve website conversion rates.
  • Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing by conducting keyword research and analyzing competitors.
  • Discover, expand, and optimize target keywords for improved search engine rankings.
  • Research and implement SEO recommendations based on industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with the development team to integrate SEO best practices into new code and ensure website compliance.
  • Work with editorial teams to incorporate SEO into content creation and programming.
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to enhance SEO rankings for target keywords.
  • Design and assist developers in implementing automated testing for elements like schema.org to improve website visibility.
Requirements:
  • Experience with tools for automated HTML validation, such as linkchecker, wget2, tidy, w3c-linkcheck, etc.
  • Proficiency with Linux command line for running analytics tools and analyzing web server (Apache) logs.
  • Deep experience with website analytics tools, including Google Analytics.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest SEO trends and best practices.
