Humanities Professor

The position requires a highly competent professional to teach at the HU School of Humanities & Social Science. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching.

**Qualifications:**

• Lecturer: First Class MS/MPhil/equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized University/Institution with no 3rd division in the academic career.
• Assistant Professor: Ph.D. in a relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution.
• Associate Professor: Ph.D. in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized University/Institution.
• Professor: Minimum Qualification Ph.D. from an HEC recognized Institution in the relevant field.

**Experience:**

The ideal candidate should have 10 years of teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a postgraduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization OR 5 years post-PhD teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization for Lecturer, Assistant Professor, and Associate Professor positions.

For Professor position, the ideal candidate should have 15 years of teaching/research experience in HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization OR 10 years post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience in a recognized university, a post-graduate institution, or professional experience in a relevant field in a National or International organization.

**Research Publications:**

The applicant must have 10 research publications (with at least 4 publications in the last 5 years) in HEC recognized Journals for Lecturer, Assistant Professor, and Associate Professor positions.

The applicant must have 15 research publications (with at least 5 publications in the last 5 years) in HEC recognized journals for Professor position.

**Courses:**

Culture, Islamic Studies / Ethics, Pakistan Studies, Social Sciences, History of Pakistan, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Civics, Statistics, Economics, and all other relevant courses and specializations.
