Job Summary:

The Assistant Shipping Manager is a key role in our team, playing a vital part in supporting the Team Leader to ensure seamless management and supervision of the Shipping Department.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement effective training programs for team members, ensuring they meet set performance standards.
  2. Maintain high-quality product standards and warehouse procedures, promoting efficiency and productivity.
  3. Collaborate with other departments to achieve common goals, including buyers, transportation, accounting, and facility leadership.
  4. Foster positive working relationships with colleagues at all levels, ensuring exceptional teamwork and morale.
  5. Communicate effectively and provide timely feedback on team member performance, ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
  6. Assist in supervising shipping operations, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions.
  7. Prepare detailed reports on operational productivity and analytics, as well as other special projects.
  8. Embody company policies, core values, vision, and safety rules, setting a positive example for others to follow.
