Chief Fiber Infrastructure Architect

We are seeking a Network Engineering Manager to oversee the design, implementation and maintenance of our fiber-optic network infrastructure. This role involves leading a team of engineers, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring the network operates efficiently and reliably.

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor and manage a team of network engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
• Fiber-Optic Network Design: Oversee the design and architecture of fiber-optic networks, ensuring they meet our standards and strategic objectives.
• Network Implementation: Manage the deployment of network infrastructure, including the installation of fiber-optic cables, network nodes and related hardware.
• Maintenance and Quality Assurance: Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure the network remains operational, address issues promptly and adhere to quality and performance standards.
• Project Management: Plan and oversee network projects, including budgeting, resource allocation and timeline management.
• Vendor Coordination: Work with procurement teams to procure necessary equipment and services, ensuring compatibility and cost-effectiveness.
• Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support to resolve complex network issues and improve overall performance.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to continually improve and optimize network infrastructure.
