Islamic Banking Product Manager

This role involves overseeing the development of wholesale Islamic banking products, focusing on addressing gaps in existing offerings and enhancing customer experience. The successful candidate will work closely with product partners to address service issues, CX journeys, and develop new product areas or enhancements required for Islamic wholesale business.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive wholesale Islamic proposition that addresses customer needs and meets regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with Shariah Governance Team, Global Transactional Banking, Operations, and other product & business partners to fix gaps in the wholesale offerings.
  • Collaborate with digital squads to ensure Islamic is incorporated comprehensively in the offering.

The ideal candidate has superior knowledge in business backend, execution requirements in general banking segment, and experience working within large and complex financial institutions. Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, interpersonal, and execution skills are essential.

Required Skills
  • Minimum 10 years of banking and finance experience.
  • Understand all product features conventional and Islamic structures of corporate banking and international banking.
  • Strong commercial orientation and effective people management skills.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of the marketing mix, with strengths in basic product execution and backend support.

A Business degree or equivalent professional qualification is desirable. The role offers opportunities for career growth and development in a dynamic organization.
