Technical Architect - AI Infrastructure

About this Role:

This is a highly specialized and challenging position that requires an experienced Technical Architect to design, develop, and maintain the backend infrastructure of our AI-powered platform.

  • Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering, with expertise in designing scalable, secure, and efficient systems architecture for complex software applications.
  • They will be responsible for leading the implementation of our technical vision, ensuring alignment with business goals, and driving innovation through cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing scalable, resilient, and efficient backend systems using cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS.
  • Leading the implementation of our technical roadmap, including planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine requirements, design secure solutions, and ensure seamless integration across the tech stack.
  • Driving technical excellence by promoting best practices, clean code, and modern design patterns.
  • Managing data systems, including database architectures, caching strategies, and search technologies, with a focus on scalability and performance under high load.
  • Championing code quality through comprehensive code reviews, guiding peers, and addressing technical debt proactively.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to backend development.
  • Mentoring and providing technical guidance to other engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence within the team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of proven experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role, with a focus on systems design and developing scalable web applications or platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as TypeScript, Python, or Go.
  • Proficiency in SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL and NoSQL databases like MongoDB or DynamoDB.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with caching technologies like Redis.
  • Prior experience working with Microservices architecture and implementing event-driven systems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a passion for tech.
