You are sought after to assume a pivotal role in fostering the growth and development of nursing staff. In this capacity, you will be responsible for assessing learning needs, ensuring nominations and attendance for continuing educational sessions, and coordinating division-wide nursing educational programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement annual educational plans in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct competency-based orientation for new staff, monitoring progress and providing necessary support.
  • Credential nursing staff, nominating them for re-credentialing as required.
  • Maintain clinical indicators, tracking performance and implementing corrective actions.
  • Establish standards of care with unit staff, monitoring delivery and implementation.
Requirements
  • A Baccalaureate degree in Nursing (BScN) from an accredited institution.
  • Certification in ACLS/BLS, Safe Medication Administration, Intravenous Cannulation, and Conscious Sedation.
  • At least three years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Excellent training skills and ability to provide knowledge transfer.
  • Expertise in clinical nursing practices and commitment to excellence in nursing practice.
