Assistant Professional Development Lead

Our organization is seeking a candidate with significant experience in professional development and learning operations to lead our Assistant Professional Development team.

• 16 years of education, preferably MBA in HR or Marketing

• At least 3 years of experience in professional development, learning development, client relationship management, training projects, or business development

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement training mandates assigned by the Learning & Professional Development Centre within the campus and support campus administration accordingly.
  • Support the delivery of leadership and professional programs, workshops, and seminars for corporate clients, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and values.
  • Help execute training activities assigned by the Learning & Professional Development Centre or conceived at the campus, department, or faculty level.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with corporate clients, understanding their needs and ensuring Learning & Professional Development Centre offerings meet or exceed expectations.
  • Facilitate the process of obtaining internal and external approvals for training activities through proper channels.
  • Represent the Learning & Professional Development Centre within and outside the campus, including visiting or arranging meetings with external entities as required.
  • Conduct needs assessments and stay updated on industry trends to keep program content relevant and impactful.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and logistics for programs and events, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Monitor and report on program effectiveness, participant satisfaction, and KPIs, providing insights for improvement.
  • Update office records for compliance and provide information to other directorates or external bodies.
  • Provide regular updates and presentations on Learning & Professional Development Centre initiatives' progress and impact, focusing on client relationships.
  • Maintain records of Learning & Professional Development Centre activities and submit monthly reports through proper channels.
  • Manage the campus website, social media, and information portals, along with operations support staff at the Learning & Professional Development Centre.
