Cloud Engineer Opportunity

We seek a Cloud Engineer to drive the development of cutting-edge cloud solutions. This role presents an opportunity to champion automation, enhance infrastructure resilience, and work with diverse cloud environments.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines tailored for multicloud platforms, including Docker container images and dependencies.
  • Configure, automate, and maintain critical environments across various cloud infrastructures, focusing on process automation for efficiency and consistency.
  • Deploy and manage large-scale Kubernetes clusters, MySQL clusters, storage solutions, ELK stacks, and Redis, ensuring high availability and resilience across cloud boundaries.
  • Utilize tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet to automate environment provisioning and streamline configuration management across multicloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to transition legacy applications to microservices architectures, leveraging public cloud platforms.
  • Develop comprehensive dashboards and integrate components to enhance visibility into multicloud infrastructure and application performance.
Requirements:
  • This role requires 5 to 7 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar capacities with a focus on multicloud solutions.
  • A bachelor's degree in a computer-related field is preferred.
  • Practical experience with production workloads on at least two leading public cloud providers: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Expertise with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Skilled in using tools such as Ansible and particularly Terraform for provisioning and managing infrastructure as code across multicloud environments.
  • Experience with industry-standard monitoring and logging tools including Grafana, Prometheus, and the ELK stack.
  • Hands-on experience with robust build systems and leading CI/CD tools.
  • Proficient in Git for version control.
  • Strong proficiency in scripting languages including Bash and Python.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Unix-based environments.
  • Practical experience with VMware and Docker containers.
  • Ability to interact with REST APIs for automation and integration.
