About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Transcription Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality transcripts of expert network calls, corporate earnings calls, company conference presentations, shareholder meetings, merger/acquisition announcements, and investor days.

The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and listening skills in English, with the ability to concentrate, focus, and deliver consistently in time in an energizing environment. Prior experience working in a transcriptions team is preferable, but not required.

As a member of our team, you will work closely with colleagues to produce final output within set guidelines. You may be asked to perform in either the role of a Scopist or Editor using real-time automated speech recognition technology and computer-aided transcription software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transcribe expert network calls, corporate earnings calls, company conference presentations, shareholder meetings, merger/acquisition announcements, and investor days.
  • Use real-time automated speech recognition technology and computer-aided transcription software to produce final output.
  • Collaborate with peers and Team Leaders to continuously improve the Transcriptions workflow process.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/College Degree (no studies in progress)
  • 'Touch-typist' with typing speed of 50 words per minute and above
  • Excellent writing and listening skills in English
  • Ability to concentrate, focus, and deliver consistently in time in an energizing environment

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience working in a transcriptions team
  • Familiarity with financial markets and business organizational vocabulary
