Job Opportunity: Audiologist

Clinical Role:

  1. Operate and calibrate audiometric equipment to ensure accuracy.
  2. Conduct diagnostic audiological tests for adults and children, interpreting results and providing guidance on hearing disorders.
  3. Stay updated on current and past hearing aids and other assistive devices, fitting and verifying them for patients with hearing loss.
  4. Educate patients on available options and settings for their hearing aids.
  5. Identify, test, diagnose, and manage disorders related to hearing, balance, and tinnitus, recommending effective care pathways and treatment plans.

Business Operations:

  1. Maintain patient records and reports of sale, inventory, diagnostic tests, etc., ensuring timely updates.
  2. Monitor stocks, marketing materials, and clinic essentials, coordinating with stakeholders for order processing and replenishments.
  3. Establish strong relationships with healthcare professionals and patients through proactive outreach and communication.
  4. Work in close coordination with stakeholders to plan outreach activities and schedule home visits as required.
  5. Monitor patient progress, resolving any difficulties they face with hearing aid settings or programming.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP) or Master's degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (MASLP).

6 months - 5 years of clinical experience.
