Back-End Developer Opportunity

We are a team of technologists and engineers who problem-solve to make finance more sustainable. We aim to make digital assets accessible to people in frontier markets.

We focus on creating high-quality, high-performance solutions that benefit farmers and working-class people worldwide. They struggle to access loans and savings accounts due to the lack of investment opportunities.

We seek a like-minded individual to help us develop robust and reliable HTTP-based APIs using Node.js. You will work closely with mobile, services, and client developers to define and provide appropriate APIs.

Requirements for the Position
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience demonstrating exceptional ability.
  • 5+ years of professional experience developing backend systems, services, and practical APIs.
  • Expertise in backend development using JavaScript, with 3+ years of experience developing production-level applications using Node.js.
  • Solid understanding of asynchronous programming principles using modern JavaScript (e.g., Promises, async/await, RxJS).
  • Solid experience interfacing and integrating with SQL (Postgres or MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases.
  • Knowledgeable in software architecture design, coding, and debugging.
  • Familiarity with AWS basics and CI/CD processes is advantageous.
