Project Coordination Specialist
Job Description:
The Project Coordination Specialist will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion. The position requires a strong focus on project management methods, risk reduction, cost-effectiveness, and success rate improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Delivery: Develop, complete, and update implementation plans to ensure effective project execution.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Prepare regular project and financial reports, review project status, and maintain accurate records.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster solid working relationships with stakeholders, including the Project Board, clients, and key partners.
- Quality Assurance: Coordinate quality reviews, provide quality control for management outputs, and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
- Knowledge Management and Innovation: Encourage capacity building activities, interact with peers to share best practices, and contribute to lessons learned procedures.
- Personnel Management: Lead and motivate the project management team, conduct performance reviews, and ensure accountability for actions.

Education/Experience/Language Requirements:
- Education: Advanced University Degree in Engineering or other relevant field; relevant combination of academic credentials and/or industry certifications may be accepted in lieu of the university education.
- Certification: PRINCE2 foundation is highly desirable, PRINCE2 at Practitioner level or any other relevant Project Management certification is a preferred qualification.
- Experience: At least five years' progressive experience in the management of construction-related projects; experience working with development actors is well regarded.
- Language Requirements: Fluency in English required.
