Supply Chain Operations Manager

This key role focuses on developing and implementing effective supply chain strategies to drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, with experience in inventory control, vendor selection, and KAIZEN management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
  2. Plan and implement activities related to timely and cost-effective inventory control.
  3. Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring they meet the company's vendor selection criteria.
  4. Manage inventory levels through proper KAIZEN Management System.
  5. Collaborate with top management to forecast and plan production, assigning targets to team members.
  6. Monitor production reports to ensure on-time delivery of goods for further processing.
  7. Coordinate the delivery of finished goods to destinations, ensuring proper warehouse and export department coordination.
  8. Ensure 100% Quality Assurance by actively supervising QA staff.
  9. Conduct regular internal meetings with divisional incharges to discuss supply chain issues.
  10. Manage staff issues within the supply chain department.
  11. Perform quarterly performance appraisals of immediate staff with HR support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • 5-6 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong analytical and managerial skills, with ability to interface with all levels of internal management and supplier management.
  • Ability to plan, control, and direct activities and resources related to planning and scheduling.
  • Strong presentation and organizational skills.
