Job Description

We are seeking an innovative and culturally-rooted fashion designer to join our team as a freelancer. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of textile aesthetics, particularly handwoven and natural fabrics.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design Conceptualization: Develop fashion collections that align with our brand ethos and reflect cultural depth, modern relevance, and market wearability.
  2. Collaboration: Work closely with artisans and production teams to refine designs and ensure seamless execution.
  3. Trend Analysis: Stay updated on current trends in fashion and sustainability to inform design decisions.
  4. Skill Requirements: Proficiency in sketching, Adobe Illustrator or similar design tools, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess a unique blend of creative vision, technical skills, and cultural sensitivity. Preferred qualifications include prior experience in contemporary or sustainable fashion (2–3 years) and familiarity with ethnic textiles.
