Lead Manager IT Audit - Technical Operations

The Lead Manager IT Audit - Technical Operations oversees the annual audit process, identifying inefficiencies and recommending policy improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive annual risk-based internal audit plan for technical operations review.
  • Participate in audit planning meetings to understand relevant risks and define roles & responsibilities.
  • Prepare pre-audit presentations to discuss potential risks, scope, timelines, and logistics.
  • Identify risks and controls for each audit engagement and prepare audit programs for documentation.
  • Perform fieldwork in accordance with the annual audit plan, execute procedures, and test controls as per agreed timelines.
  • Conduct a comprehensive operational audit with a focus on maximizing performance and minimizing risk.
  • Ensure departments operate consistently while complying with laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Conduct physical surveys and audits of operations at fields and departments, including Cathodic Protection and pipeline network rehabilitation.
  • Evaluate operational policies and procedures across the organization in terms of risk and establish controls to mitigate loss.
  • Monitor and control the operational audits to ensure smooth conduct and minimal disruption to routine operations.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from a recognized university with 9 years of experience.
  • Or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with 10 years of experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience as a Functional or Team Lead.

The selected candidate will adhere to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework and Business Principles and Ethics Policy / Code of Conduct.
