Senior Financial Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior financial strategist to lead and optimize the finance function within an insurance brokerage firm. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in the insurance sector, particularly in managing both General Insurance Brokerage and Reinsurance Brokerage operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to achieve business objectives.
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of timely and accurate financial and management accounts in compliance with IFRS, company policies, and statutory requirements.
  • Lead the development and implementation of accounting and operational systems, policies, and procedures to streamline processes and ensure efficiency.
  • Design and enforce internal control systems, continuously updating and improving them as necessary.
Requirements
  • Qualified CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a senior financial management role within the insurance sector, with a strong background in both general insurance and reinsurance.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a finance team, with a track record of enhancing operational efficiency and achieving financial objectives.
