Job Title: Software Development Manager

We are seeking an exceptional Software Development Manager to lead our internal development practice. The ideal candidate is a multi-talented developer with a passion for designing, prototyping, implementing, testing, and documenting all phases of software development.

This role involves working closely with senior executives and university interns to create the best software modules. As a troubleshooter with sound problem-solving skills, you will provide reliable solutions and take corrective actions to resolve issues.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work on a variety of projects, including developing software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and investigating problem areas. You will also be responsible for presenting ideas for system improvements, including cost proposals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Formulate a strategy for initiating new modules and software improvements, working jointly with internal customers.
  • Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development cycle.
  • Presenting ideas for system improvements, including cost proposals.
  • Providing reliable and qualitative solutions to troubleshoot complex problems using sound problem-solving techniques.
  • Utilizing software engineering tools such as configuration management systems, build processes, and debuggers in the software development process.
  • Participating in product and/or application definition activities including feature analysis and system tradeoffs.
  • Managing the internal technical knowledge base and ensuring all technical documentation is up to date and complete.
  • Testing new programs to ensure that logic and syntax are correct for smooth functioning.

You Will Be Successful In This Role If:

  • You hold a graduate degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • You possess outstanding technical skills, business domain expertise, or other competitive areas such as sports.
  • You have a minimum of 5 to 6 years of relevant experience.
  • You have experience working with SharePoint and .Net development.
  • You excel in team leading, time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • You have excellent speaking and writing skills.
  • You are committed to personal and organizational growth.
  • You are adaptable under changing conditions and can multitask between projects.
