Health Information Systems Leader - Two Opportunities

We are inviting applications for two positions of Health Information Systems Leaders (HISLs) to join our organization.

The HISLs will be responsible for providing strategic leadership in the planning, implementation and optimization of all health information technology systems that support healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality patient care, medical education, research and clinical information technology strategic plans.

The ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of electronic health record (EHR) systems and experience in implementing and supporting systems for virtual care. They will also have a proven track record of accomplishments in management, particularly involving collaborative successful work with healthcare professionals.

We are looking for individuals who possess excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership, and change management skills. They will be responsible for ensuring effective user support and education for EHR systems adoption, driving continuous improvement of quality and impact of health information systems and data, and establishing health information systems guidelines and policies based on best practices.

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare settings is required, with a minimum 3 years' experience in leadership, information technology management or clinical informatics.
  • Widespread knowledge and practical experience with electronic health information systems is required.
  • Certification in Clinical Informatics is preferred.
