GC Estimation Expert

We are seeking an experienced GC Estimator to join our team and contribute to the success of exciting construction projects from conception to completion.

About This Role:
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed material take-offs and estimates based on drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
  • This includes communicating bids and scope details clearly with project managers, supervisors, and contractors/subcontractors.
Main Responsibilities:
  1. Analyze design and constructability to identify cost-effective solutions.
  2. Prepare and assemble bids/proposals for various contract types.
  3. Review tender documents and manage RFIs for precise bid submissions.
  4. Collaborate with operations, procurement, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment.
  5. Manage risk evaluations and develop strategies to mitigate risks effectively.
  6. Maintain a 'Lessons Learned' database for continuous project improvement.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years of US-based estimation experience.
  • The ability to handle all trades (GC + MEP).
  • Proficiency in Plan Swift, MS Office, and related estimation tools.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Project management and supervision skills are a plus.
