Male Counselor Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Male Counselor to join our team of professionals dedicated to providing support services to youth.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to offer non-judgmental counseling services in Pashto, English, and Urdu. A Master's degree in Psychology or equivalent experience is essential, along with proficiency in the aforementioned languages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide confidential telephonic support on psychosocial, reproductive health, academic issues, family conflicts, substance abuse, GBV, and other youth-related concerns.
  • Assess mental health needs and provide psychological first aid.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records, referring high-risk cases as necessary.
  • Participate in training and awareness campaigns.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Psychology or at least 16 years' qualification in psychology, Clinical Psychology/M.Phil., and Clinical diploma.
  • Proficiency in Pashto and Urdu (English is an added advantage).
  • At least 2 years' experience in counseling (preferably telephonic/online).
