Strategic Financial Leader

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Financial Management Professional to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial management, reporting, and analysis, with the ability to drive financial strategy and provide executive-level insights to support business growth and decision-making.

• Oversee all aspects of financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll management
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes with accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare and present comprehensive financial statements, management reports, and board-level presentations
• Develop and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to executive leadership
• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and performance metrics
• Develop sophisticated financial models and pro forma analyses for business initiatives, product launches, and strategic investments
• Conduct profitability analysis by product line, customer segment, and business unit
• Ensure seamless integration of inventory management, e-commerce platforms, and payment systems with the general ledger
• Lead ERP system optimization and financial system implementations
• Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
• Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial dashboards
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax professionals, and regulatory bodies
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, tax regulations, and reporting requirements
• Oversee internal controls and SOX compliance (if applicable)
• Identify and mitigate financial risks across the organization
• Lead and mentor finance team members, fostering professional growth and development
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, marketing, and executive teams
• Provide financial training and support to non-finance departments

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required
• CPA certification is strongly preferred
• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or MBA is preferred

• Minimum 7-10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience is required
• At least 3-5 years in a Controller or senior financial management role is required
• Experience in e-commerce, retail, or inventory-based businesses is strongly preferred
• Public accounting experience with Big 4 or mid-tier firms is a plus

• Advanced expertise in Excel, Google Sheets, and financial modeling is required
• Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks Enterprise, SAP, etc.) is required
• Experience with e-commerce platforms and inventory management systems is required
• Strong understanding of business intelligence and reporting tools is required

• Deep understanding of US GAAP and IFRS accounting principles is required
• Comprehensive knowledge of US tax system, regulations, and reporting deadlines is required
• Proven track record of successful month-end and year-end close processes is required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail is required
• Experience in process improvement and change management is required
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive-level reporting are required

• Must align with Central Time business hours for collaboration with US-based team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote environment with minimal supervision
• Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
