Accounts Payable Expert

  • Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process to ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, expense claims, and payments.
  • Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and employee expense claims in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for auditing and compliance purposes.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date.
  • Assist with month-end closing, including preparation of AP reports and schedules.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding invoice/payment status and resolve any queries.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and internal controls.
  • Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Assist with improvements in AP processes and systems to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

  • ACCA / Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in Accounts Payable or similar finance role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
