Steel Production Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Steel Production Supervisor to oversee the entire production process of steel bars and billets. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety across all plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee daily plant operations, develop strategies to improve production processes, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. Monitor and analyze KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of managers, supervisors, and production staff. Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous learning.
  • Production Planning: Collaborate with planning and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate production scheduling. Manage inventory levels to meet customer demands while minimizing excess stock.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control standards throughout the production process. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Safety and Compliance: Promote a safe working environment and ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage the plant's budget, ensuring cost-effective operations. Monitor and control operational expenses.
  • Maintenance and Equipment: Oversee the maintenance and repair of plant equipment to minimize downtime. Ensure that all machinery and equipment are operating at peak efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 20 years of experience or 15+ years of experience with Bachelor in Engineering (Electrical, Metallurgy)
